2014-2015 San Manuel Concessions

Hello REV Band Boosters,

One of the most profitable fundraisers the band boosters participate in is working a concession stand at San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore (formerly Glen Helen Pavilion).  The 2014 San Manuel concert season will begin in April and most likely run until October.  Our "job" at each scheduled concert is to fill our stand with 12 trained volunteers and serve sodas, beer and nachos to concert-goers. Sounds simple enough right?

A few additional things you need to know:

  • Volunteers in our stand MUST be 21
  • Every volunteer MUST attend training this year, even if you trained last year.
  • Even if you have a current food handler's card you still MUST re-take the training course for it to be valid with Aramark.

There is a full concert line up for the season!  Please consider training so we can fill the spots we need.  If you have never participated in this fundraiser before it is a long day of standing, but you are surrounded by a fun group of people and time passes quickly.

Check this site often for the most up to date information about upcoming concerts!

If you are interested in training, or would like more information about this fundraiser please email:

ways.and.means@revband.org.

Hello REV Band Boosters,

We are in the home stretch for our San Manuel concert season. While October is our last month, it is also our busiest month yet. We have 4 concerts in October and we still need everyone's help.

There will be one last training session at San Manuel Amphitheater on Tuesday, September 30th at 6:00PM

Don't forget:
You can earn FAIR SHARE for your favorite band student by volunteering at our San Manuel concerts.

Reminders:
- Anyone 21 or over can volunteer for this fundraiser.
- The more people you have volunteering in your students name, the more Fair Share you can earn.

October 2014 Events:
Oct. 5 (Sunday) - Blake Shelton
Oct. 18 (Saturday) - Zac Brown Band
Oct. 25 & 26 (Saturday & Sunday) - Knotfest

Directions:
Allow 30-35 minutes drive time begining at the Ford St. entrance to the I-10 freeway.
From I-10 or I-210: Drive north (toward CSU San Bernardino & Devore) on I-215. Drive PAST the signs that say "San Manuel Pavilion this exit".
Transition to I-15 SOUTH and take the first exit* (GLEN HELEN PARKWAY & THE AMPHITHEATER) and turn LEFT.
Enter the park through GATE NUMBER 1. Follow the road back to the amphiteater. Turn into the VIP parking lot, then make a LEFT into the back stage parking lot. Park in the BACK STAGE PARKING LOT.
Look for the building that reads ADMINISTRATION. At the opposite end of that building is the GREEN ROOM where the training sessions will take place.

Hello REV Band Boosters,
How is everyone doing on their Marching Band Fair Share?

What if I told you that I have a volunteer opportunity for you that will donate funds towards your students Fair Share?

The REV Band Brew Crew has that opportunity. Interested? Keep reading...

There are 10 potential concerts left in our 2014 San Manuel concert season. That is 7 confirmed events with 3 unconfirmed.

With the approval of Ms. Glass and the REV Band Booster Board I have arranged for the profits from 4 of the confirmed events as well as 2 of the unconfirmed events (if they become confirmed) to be divided into shares and donated to the students who have an Aramark trained adult over the age of 21 work in their name.

However, there is a catch, in order for your student to receive their share, you must also agree to work two additional San Manuel concerts during the 2014 season. There are 3 confirmed dates remaining, with 1 date unconfirmed (Total of 4 potential dates.)
