2013-02-14: San Manuel Training Session

Hello REV Band Boosters,
Just a friendly reminder, the first training session of the 2013 San Manuel season is this Saturday, February 16th at 9:00AM at the San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore.
If you can spare a few hours to attend one of the three upcoming training sessions, presented by Aramark, we could really use you as a part of our Brew Crew. This is something anyone can do. There are no special talents required.

Just to put into perspective the importance of this fundraiser, for the 2012 concert season, your REV San Manuel Brew Crew earned $4,669.75. That was for 5 concerts. It is a significant contribution to our band booster budget.

Here is what I need you to do now:
1. Check your calendars and see if you are available Saturday, March 16, 2013 for the Beyond Wonderland concert at San Manuel Amphitheater.
Can you commit to being there on that date?
2. Attend one of the three training sessions being offered.

THE TRAINING DATES ARE
Saturday, February 16th at 9:00AM
Friday, February 22nd at 6:00PM
Saturday, February 23rd at 9:00AM

3. Send me an email and let me know if you can attend one of the training sessions and are available to work a shift on March 16th at the Beyond Wonderland concert.
Once you have attended training you are able to work any other concert that comes up this season - the concert line up has not been released yet.

A few additional things you need to know:
1. Volunteers in our stand MUST be 21
2. Every volunteer MUST attend training this year, even if you trained last year.
3. Even if you have a current food handler's card you still MUST re-take the training course for it to be valid with Aramark.

DIRECTIONS:
  • All training sessions will be held at San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore.
  • Allow 30-35 minutes drive time beginning at the Ford St. entrance to the I-10 freeway.
  • From I-10 or I-210: Drive north (toward CSU San Bernardino & Devore) on I-215. 
  • Drive PAST the signs that say "San Manuel Pavilion this exit".
  • Transition to I-15 SOUTH and take the first exit* (GLEN HELEN PARKWAY & THE AMPHITHEATER) and turn LEFT.
  • Enter the park through GATE NUMBER 1. Follow the road back to the amphitheater. 
  • Turn into the VIP parking lot, then make a LEFT into the back stage parking lot. Park in the BACK STAGE PARKING LOT.
  • Look for the building that reads ADMINISTRATION. 
  • At the opposite end of that building is the GREEN ROOM where the training sessions will take place. 
  • Look for signs that will lead you there.
