Thought for the day:

"BAND IS LIKE A FAMILY.  There are times when we don't get along with each other.  There are times when we feel like ripping out each other's hair.  There are times when we just want to give up and quit.  But we won't.  We don't because we have each other to lean on and help us through the tough times.  We don't because we don't want to let each other down.  We don't because our band with each other is stronger than our love of music, the thing that brought us together in the first place.  We don't because BAND IS A FAMILY."  -unknown

2017-08-30: Marching Band Trailer Load Schedule

posted Aug 31, 2017, 4:04 PM by Donna Cranfill

Hello Marching Wildcats!

Each Monday, practice will be at 6:00pm at Redlands High School Dodge Stadium.  Each Wednesday, practice will be at 5:30pm at Citrus Valley High School Hodge's Stadium.  Please arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to get to the field and be ready to start on time.

Each practice, we need to load and unload the trailers with all of the pit and percussion equipment.  Throughout the season, for practices, football games, and competitions, each section will take turns who helps percussion with loading the trailer.  Color Guard is expected to always jump in and help as well.

Attached, you will find the load schedule.  Please feel free to print it out and put it in a visible location to refer to throughout the season.  If there is any reason at all why your student is unable to make it for loading/unloading the trailer, please have them immediately contact their Captain and Mr. Hollett.  No shows count against a student's ability to remain in the competitive band.

Thank you, and GO WILDCATS!!
